Out here in Massachusetts and New Hampsshire there is a place called Chunky's. It is a movie theater that is ideal for families. There are tables that have leather chairs - either passenger or driver's side - from real limousine's. One side has an armrest, the seats recline, and they are on wheels. You sit down at a table on one of three levels and when the waiter or waitress comes over you give her your order. Your food is brought to you (even if you only want popcorn). And the food is surprisingly good. Burgers, quesadillas, salad, steak tips and chicken fingers are just a few of the menu items we have sampled. And, if you are over 21, they have beer & wine as well. You can either show up early and eat before the movie starts or, if you don't, service still happens during the show. And, since there are many families that frequent the establishment no one minds if your child dances in the aisle during the credits.
I don't think my husband or I will ever take our kids to a regular movie theater again.
